The Exhibition

Our exhibition is all about bring awareness to the harmful effects of synthetic indigo dyes to the environment, in particular the Citarum River in West Java, Indonesia.
Through this exhibition we want to educate everyone and hope to be able to find a solution to the issue at hand.

This exhibition will showcase a collection of clothing, specially designed by designer Ruby Chairani. Not only that, there will be a curation of the items found from the Citarum River and images we have shot for this exhibition.

It is a collaboration with designer Ruby Chairani and the National Gallery Singapore and, in conjunction with the 2019 Singapore Fashion Week as this is an underlying issue of the fashion industry.

The exhibition opens 26 October to 3 November 2019 at the National Gallery Singapore.
